The beginning of the Honeycomb tablet wars at CES 2011, that LG Electronics will indeed, as speculated, take the covers off a 8.9″-screen tablet that happens to run Android 3.0, also known as Honeycomb Sources have confirmed from Australian blog Smarthouse.
LG Optimus Pad Honeycomb Tablet will be announced at LG’s official press conference on Wednesday, January 5.

Another Honeycomb tablet which is supposed to be launched the same day at CES, ASUS has also released teaser pics of its forthcoming Eee Pad lineup, which should also make its first public appearance at CES this week. not to mention rumors of the Blackberry Playbook, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and HTC Scribe as well.
The Optimus Pad speculation that LG tablet, will have 2 screen sizes available — 8.9″ and 10″ — and may even have a physical keyboard with Tegra2 processor. Source
